When MacKenzie Price’s daughters told her they absolutely hated school, she realized that she had to channel her lifelong passion for education to bring change to classrooms.

And that is how 2 Hour Learning was created: A transformative educational model which empowers students to crush core academics in just two hours a day, freeing up four hours in the afternoon for exploring interests while mastering life skills.

This journey began over a decade ago, with the first Alpha School in Austin, and is still going strong! Alpha is expanding to multiple cities, including Miami, Denver, Brownsville, and more locations on the horizon! The 2 Hour Learning model also powers the education at Alpha High, Sports Academy, NextGen Academy, and GT School. Students across these schools rank in the top 10% nationally, and more than 90% love school!

MacKenzie hosts the Future of Education podcast and is active on the Future of Education YouTube channel, exploring topics like AI in education, parental support for future-ready learners, how students can align their personal passions with academic growth, and more. She is a member of the Forbes Technology Council and continues to drive discussions on innovative education and technology.
